It’s time to mark your 2020 calendar for the biggest poker festival of the World. World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2020 held a press on December 11 to announce, “the longest-running, richest and most prestigious tournament series – opens its doors on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and will run for 51 consecutive days through Wednesday, July 15, 2020.”
This prestigious event started back in the 1970s and now it has become the leader in the poker world. It is running for 51 years and last year it has made a jaw-dropping record where 187,000 entries were registered from 118 different countries. Moreover, it has awarded prize money of over $293 Million.
WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart said, “We can’t wait to open our doors for the 2020 World Series of Poker. Summer can’t come fast enough, and we look forward to welcoming poker players from all over the globe back to the Rio in Las Vegas to award gold bracelets and hundreds of millions of dollars.”
